She Bop was the third single from the LP She’s So Unusual by Cindy Lauper. This is considered a controversial song, as it allegedly talks about spanking the monkey, stroking the violin, watering the plant or choking the chicken. The best line from the song, to me at least, is ‘I don’t even understand’.
