Animated Intellivision commercial from 1982. Shown at the theaters, before Tron.

We had a hand-me-down Intellivision when I was a kid, but we didn’t have any of the games shown in this commercial. My favorites were Lock N’ Chase and Astrosmash. The graphics were awful and blocky beyond what is now considered 8-bit or retro. But it was fun as hell. I still play the Flash version of Astrosmash sometimes. - Vuk, RR

When the Super Nintendo was released, some Swedish emigrant relatives of mine gave me their old Intellivision and some games - Astrosmash was one of my favorites, and I had the full package, box and slip-on cover included. The Intellivision had crappy graphics even back then, but it was fun to play.

The Ultimate Retro 8-Bit Production Kit: Intellivision Expansion Set, complete with keyboard, another keyboard, Intellivoice and some music production software. I don’t think this ever went into mass production, because Mattell gave up on the Intellivsion and scrapped all their future projects.

Yup, I had an Intellivision. It was a hand-me-down toy I got from my aunt and her kids in 1989. By then, the graphics were already retro, but beggars can’t be choosy.
