One of those hits from the 80s.
Hey Little Girl is a single released by Australian band Icehouse, the second single from the band’s 1982 album, Primitive Man. It was released in October, 1982, on Regular Records in 7” Vinyl Single and 12” Vinyl Single formats. (Wikipedia)
Iva Davis, the singer of Icehouse, has a smooth and cool voice, sounds like a mix of Brian Molko - without the nasal effect - and Tanita Tikaram. This is truly one of those 80s gems you catch on the radio or VH1, and another example of how pop music used to be way more artistic that it is today.
