The first Kick-Ass left you with a feeling of ‘Finally!’, because someone had finally made a totally unconventional, original and action-packed movie about superheroes, that was actually based on a comic book. It was smart, filled with dark humor and satire.
Kick-Ass 2 lacks the heart and seems as if its filmmakers went with a formula of simply reproducing the levels of violence and profanity from the first one. It doesn’t work. Dramatic scenes are slow and boring, the action scenes are enjoyable, but actually feel overdone when compared to the original movie, making Kick-Ass 2 a completely ‘meh’ experience. Will there be a third one? Most probably, but I’ll most probably skip it.
Rating: 2 and a half stars out of 5. Could ha—- Wait. Should have been better.
It's the 21st of October, 2013, and it's not the day Marty McFly travels to the future.
Marty McFly traveled to 1955, 2015 and 1885. His present day is 1985.The date is October 21st. How can this be difficult to remember, the years, at least? I’ve seen all three movies at an early age, and have seen them over and over again - it’s practically impossible for me to forget which years he visits.
But, for years now, every October 31st, we see Photoshopped screenshots of the DeLorean dashboard claiming he traveled to 201x instead of 2015. So, when you see sites that proclaim to be ‘nerd’ and ‘geek’ post that Marty traveled to Ocotober 31st, 2013, maybe you should ask them to check themselves, the fools. You don’t have to be a nerd to remember the years from Back to the Future. That’s common knowledge, man, it’s like knowing that Santa Clause wears red.
